These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the DNS hosting services (the "Service") provided by Power DNS Operations ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
We provide authoritative DNS hosting, including the ability to create and manage DNS zones and records through a web console and an application programming interface (API). Features may change over time.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly notify us of any unauthorized use. You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service.
3. Acceptable use
Your use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. You are solely responsible for the domains, zones, and records you configure and for ensuring you have the right to manage them.
4. Availability
We strive to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our reasonable control.
5. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the integrity and security of the Service or our network. You may stop using the Service at any time.
6. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the DNS data and other content you submit. You grant us the limited rights necessary to operate the Service, including processing and publishing your DNS records on our name servers.
7. Fees
Where the Service is offered for a fee, applicable charges, billing cycles, and refund terms will be presented to you before purchase. Non-payment may result in suspension or termination.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
